potatoes from Pennsylvania or Vidalia Onions from Georgia with a local label
at Ellwood Thompson's. Shopping locally for food has many benefits. Local
food is better for you nutritionally. It's better for the environment, and
its better for the economy. But our commitment to local does not stop at
just offering locally grown and produced products. We try to source
everything we can from local vendors, rather it be our business cards or our
web hosting Ellwood Thompson's chooses local first, helping to strengthen

Trying to avoid the shopping rush? Here's the inside scoop -- the busiest days at Ellwood Thompson's are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but even on these days there are quieter times to shop. Visit early from 7 to 11 a.m. or later in the evening after 7 p.m. any day of the week to enjoy a more relaxed shopping atmosphere.
